A class act and impressive in every respect. Under saddle, Jayson is absolutely exceptional with an extraordinary action and great talent for collection. He won the NRPS Stallion Performance Test in 2017/2018, won the Houten qualifier for the PAVO Cup as a four-year-old and came sixth in the final. Father Johnson, a stallion awarded the premium “preferent”, was a permanent fixture on the Dutch national team with Hans Peter Minderhoud. At the European Championships in 2015 the combination won both team gold and individual bronze in the Grand Prix Special. At the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Johnson placed 9th. In 2019 he was second in the WBSFH world ranking list for dressage sires. Damsire Negro, who was also awarded the premium “preferent”, is famous for his super attitude and competitive spirit which he passes on to his offspring. Grandmother Jamora, who was awarded the "prestatie sport”, and great grandmother Tamora, who was awarded the “keur preferente”, lead via the “keur preferente” performance mare Olien (by Pericles xx) to the outstanding mare Karin (by Apollo), who enjoys international recognition as the founder of the Dutch 121 mare line (“NL-Merrielijn 121“). Licensed stallions Caprice (PB Brdbg.) and Life is Life (PB Bay., Westf.) descend from this bloodline.
