The exceptional sire!
Cascadello is the flagship stallion of our station. With a jumping breeding value of 144 index points and a reliability of 97%, he ranks among the absolute elite. In the world ranking of top jumping sires, he has climbed eight places compared to last year and now holds 17th position.
On the international stage, his offspring are firmly established up to 1.60 m show jumping. One outstanding example is Cydello, who, under Richard Vogel, has repeatedly placed at the top in 4* classes at the CHIO Aachen and has also been successfully competed in Nations Cups. Another spectacular jumper is Carissimo 25, who, together with top rider Aaron Vale, is a reliable member of the U.S. Nations Cup team, most recently contributing to their victory in the 5* Nations Cup of Ireland in Dublin.
In 2024, Cascadello once again produced a Bundeschampion: Casanova, ridden by Ben Leuwer, won the title of Bundeschampion of 5-year-old eventing horses.
Overall, Cascadello has nearly 300 sport-successful offspring, including almost 40 competing successfully at 1.50–1.60 m level. To date, 26 of his sons have received a positive licensing verdict. In summary, Cascadello I produces outstanding offspring that excel at the highest level of show jumping, while also proving to be an excellent sire for eventing horses as well as the highly sought-after hunter and equitation horses in the USA.
Cascadello I is a stallion who will always remain “en vogue”—because performance and success never go out of style.
