A Star in the Dressage Arena – In the Footsteps of his Father
Large and impressively proportioned dressage stallion, muscular with great topline. He is a big mover, on the one hand he convinces with swing and light-footedness, on the other hand through a high degree of willingness to collect. Feuertanz has won many Reitpferdeprufungen. In 2016 he was the Hannoverian Reitpferdechampion and came fourth in the National Championships for three year old stallions. In the meantime he was won dressage tests at L level in the international arena. The first progeny are large-framed, typey and particularly good movers. The father, Foundation, was the Oldenburger Hauptpramiensiegerhengst in Vechta in 2012 and has since achieved success in the international Grand Prix arena. He has proven himself a top class maker of riding horses, as shown not only by the 2018 FN breeding evaluation (157 points), but also as impressively demonstrated by the victories and high placings of his offspring at National Championship level. The Damsire, Breitling W, himself successful internationally at Grand Prix under Wolfram Wittig, produced 9 licensed sons and numerous S level dressage horses, including Burg-Pokal champion Blind Date. Breitling W led the FN breeding evaluation for dressage many times and in 2014 was honoured as the “Hannoverian Stallion of the Year” for his life’s work in breeding and sport.
With Weltmeyer (licensing champion, stallion performance test champion, DLG-Champion, Hannoverian Stallion of the Year 1998), dressage line founder Bolero and the legendary dual purpose stallion Grande even the earlier generations of the pedigree are admirably guaranteed, whereby the double Bolero influence is especially worth mentioning. The great-grandmother Baccara is full sister to the internationally successful dressage horse Borsalino 8/Heike Kemmer.
Feuertanz represents the proven Hannoverian family of performers 763/Norodina (v. Nordenfeld-Schamord-Lord Derby). This family produced 38 licensed stallions, including Banter (PB USA), Bon Bonaparte (PB Hann.), Bonsoir (PB DK), De Valier (PB Westf., licensing champion), Duellgraf (PB Oldbg, Bad.-Wttbg, Bay), Granat (Ldb.
