Balou Star

Stallion | Bay | 160 cm | 2005
Stud fee 1300,- EUR

Team gold at the FEI European Championships in 2017, team and individual bronze at the FEI European Championships in 2015, an outstanding 6th place at his first Nations Cup for Great Britain in Roeser (Lux) in 2017 – these are just a few of the great successes that Balou Star achieved with his rider Millie Allen. Balou Star has also enjoyed great success in international jumping classes up to 1.60m.

This outstanding Oldenburg horse is an athlete with a lot of blood, a big heart, fast reflexes and an enormous canter. Due to his exceptional technique and great elasticity along with carefulness and scope, this stallion leaves a lasting impression over a fence.

His achievements are based on a fantastic pedigree. Both grandfathers, Baloubet du Rouet and Quick Star were among the best in the world in terms of sport and breeding. Both go back to the sire of the century, Alme Z, via their common sire - Galoubet A. Despite mainly having been used for breeding in Great Britain and France, he already boasts some licensed sons. Particularly noteworthy would probably be the mare Lady Lou, who was state champion 6 year old in Redefin in 2019 under Hartwig Rohde and is now competing internationally with Jana Wargers.
