Urmel Junior is from our own breeding programme and captivates with scope, power, speed, above-average intelligence and outstanding rideability.
He has impressed us from day 1 and we believe that great sport and breeding careers lie ahead of him. In 2022 he passed his short-format stallion test in Warendorf with top marks and reconfirmed his credentials again in 2023 at his sport test in Münster-Handorf. He particularly stood out due to his scope (8.6) and his active, generous canter (8.7) as well as excellent rideability (8.5) and received a final score of 8.57).
Sire, Untouchable, jumped his way to wins and placings up to 1.60m under Daniel Deusser and descends from the Holstein line 18a2, which is one of the most reliable bloodlines in Holsteiner breeding. Damsire, Cornet Obolensky, is one of the most successful stallions of recent times. His offspring are ever-present at international competitions and championships such as the Olympic Games, and World and European championships. Urmel Junior comes from a very special damline. His granddam Arka (v. Argentinus - Beach Boy) is full sister to Arko III, who under Nick Skelton (GBR) was the best show jumper of his era, competed at the Olympics and achieved lifetime winnings of more than 1.5 million Euros.
